Up From The Grave

This is a fictionalized real-life family drama concerning a Desert
Storm veteran.
Tim Moreland is born into a happy Christian home, but
adversities strike early. His father is killed in a traffic accident.
His stepfather’s behavior turns out to be inscrutable and reprehensible,
informing the family with impressions of the whole
gamut from stunned disbelief to tragicomedy, and foreshadowing
a mental illness.
Through a life rich in triumphs and tragedies, the family remains
a strong unit. Tim emerges as joyful in spirit, intense in emotion,
high in patriotism, and luminous in mental acuity, becoming a
superb physical specimen and an accomplished musician, with
seemingly unlimited potential.
He graduates from the Naval Academy and joins the Marines.
Deployed to the Persian Gulf, he returns changed through neurological
damage, which sends his health spiraling down, disabling
him more and more as time goes on.
