A wanted man, Martin Claver hangs-up his suit and is unable to protect the city of Chicago as the Phantom Phoenix. Everyone is searching for him, trying to solve the puzzle of the Phoenix’s true identity.

Unfortunately it doesn’t take long for Flambeau’s trigger men to get a little too close to home, kidnapping Father Karol in an attempt to smoke out the Phoenix.
